Checkmate lifting slings are commonly used in construction, transportation, and other industries. They offer a flexible, strong, and easy-to-rig solution for lifting a variety of loads. Our web slings and round slings are available in multiple capacities and lengths, and can be used in vertical, choker, and basket hitches.
Our web slings are made from 100% polyester fibers (PES) and are available in duplex (2 layers) or quadplex (4 layers) construction. They provide a more versatile lifting solution compared to options like wire rope or chain.
For extra-heavy or wide loads, we can manufacture quadplex web slings stitched side-by-side, offering up to 600 mm additional width and a theoretical WLL of up to 48 tonnes.
We can also provide custom-made solutions for special applications.

Checkmate round slings offer excellent flexibility and can be adapted to lift irregular loads. Made from polyester, these round slings have a very low weight-to-strength ratio compared to traditional chain or wire rope alternatives.
Custom-made solutions are also available for special applications.

Our in-house round sling machine can manufacture heavy-duty slings of up to 100 t with circumferences up to 120 m. It uses laser-guided computer technology to control sling length, number of yarn turns, yarn ends, speed, and tension. Remarkably, it is the only machine in the world that passively controls the tension of the base yarns during production.
